i am passionate about good food done right. we have all stopped in Lockhart, tx, and had BBQ at one or all of the joints. i always stop on my way to Austin and I always enjoy those times.

the moment I tried Aaron Franklin's brisket for the first time is one that I will never forget. i needed to figure it out as there is no perfect food. his ability to turn that tough meat into something so special is amazing.

anyway, mine is not franklins' but it is real good.
